I finally took a jaunt over to St. Paul and checked out Cook StP today. The new restaurant, run by Eddie Wu, has been getting great press.
(For those of you who frequent Sole Cafe, you’ll recognize Eddie.)
The praise is spot on. At Eddie’s suggestion, I had the spicy Korean burger. So. Effin. Good! The burger melted in my mouth. Seriously. Look at that glorious thing!
I also walked away with this secret sauce, which is Eddie’s take on gochujang. It’s delicious; Eddie absolutely knows what he’s doing.
If you live in Minnesota or are visiting the Twin Cities, go check out Cook St. Paul. Yeah, for some of us Minneapolis people, the drive to this part of St. Paul is kinda-sorta out of the way. But I’m telling you. The food is totally worth it.
