Adoptees in the Wild: Ramsey County Libraries Screening/Discussion

Ramsey County Libraries is pleased to host a screening and post-screening discussion of Gazillion Voices’ Adoptees in the Wild: Season 1. The film follows adoptees in New York City, uncovering their adoption stories and the different ways in which they have come to terms with their personal experiences. The film also features two adoptions events that were held in Minnesota in 2013 – the Minnesota Transracial Film Festival and the APRC Conference. Following the screening, Kevin Haebeom Vollmers of Land of Gazillion Adoptees/Gazillion Strong will lead a discussion about the film for adults, and Andrea Wood of Avalon School will a discussion for teens.
Appropriate for ages 13 and up.
