Now THIS is awesome. Our fine Pacific Northwest friends – Adult Korean Adoptees of Portland (AKAP) and Asian Adult Adoptees of Washington (AAAW) – have challenged each other to a friendly game of dodgeball. However, judging by the video released by the AAAW, this competition will be far from civil. There will be blood on April 16th, 2013.
Want to be a spectator? It’s free! Want to join the fun? It’s only $15 to register! Check it:
Get ready to dodge, duck, dive, dip, and dodge! The First Annual Dodgeball Challenge is underway to be hosted in Portland. This will be the inaugural year for what we hope will become an annual friendly competition with our neighbors up north, rotating between Portland and Seattle.
Jen Moon, your fearless leader is looking for members and their family and friends to join AKAP to their first win. We’ve been talking lots of smack to AAAW and as Peter LaFleur would say, “it’s time to put your mouth where our balls are.”
Players, spectator, and most importantly cheerleaders alike are welcome. FREE to attend for spectators. Non-adoptees are welcome to participate by invitation from a member of AKAP. Registration fee is $15/person plus $1 processing fee (players only; nonrefundable). Registration closes Saturday, March 23, 2013.
