Renegades in Adoption – Deborah Jiang Stein

LGA has love that extends far beyond Valentine’s Day, especially for Renegades in Adoption. Our next honored Renegade, Deborah Jiang Stein, joins the ranks with Dr. John Raible, Jane Jeong Trenka and Arun Dohle.

Nominator Julie Hart says:

Deborah is an incredible person with an amazing story. Recently, I had the honor of attending Deborah’s book signing in Minneapolis, MN, and she shared her story about her birthplace and life since. I have the utmost respect for Deborah, as I’m completely inspired by her integrity, compassion, and unapologetic spirit. Deborah is the author of EVEN TOUGH GIRLS WEAR TUTUS: Inside the World of a Woman Born in Prison. Also, check out Deborah’s non-profit organization, The UN-PRISON PROJECT and http://on.fb.me/djspage-facebook.

Thank you, Deborah. May we all don a tutu to honor your renegade status.

  1. Thank you for this, and deepest respect for the other nominees. I share this with them, where we all walk in the same web even with our different stories. Here’s to the power of the tutu, aka the freedom to live our own truths. ♥
