A note to Maureen Warren, President/CEO of Children’s Home Society & Family Services (CHSFS):
The adoption community here in Minnesota is small. People talk. So, I’ve heard through the grapevine that you’ve been calling various leaders in the adoption community and talking trash about me. On the one hand, I’m flattered. My work on Land of Gazillion Adoptees must be getting under your skin. On the other hand, I’m a little peeved. Really? You, the President/CEO of the largest adoption agency in MN, use these types of tactics? Don’t you have better things to do?
As I’ve done through LGA, engage me (and other adoptees) publicly rather than resorting to ridiculous high school behavior.
I have an idea, Maureen. How about a public forum in which we invite the MN adoption community and you and I talk about constructive adoption issues. You have my contact info, and I’m ready to talk with you in a public setting anytime.
